We extended our stay for a few more days. We really liked it. This is a really nice traditional Hotel in the center of Moab. Shops and restaurants right across and up the street. City Market grocery store an easy 2 block (5-6 min) walk away. Really convenient. It's one of the older hotels in town, but they keep it nice and well maintained. Most hotels these days go super cheap on things, but these guys get 'right' what a lot of hotels don't. Here's my list of what they have that is great that a lot of hotels suck at: Old world spanish-style exterior with some charm ...and modern amenities, Great location, Plenty of parking, External hallways (outside) which are usually quieter and don't smell funny like some hotel hallways, Wood floor (not carpeted), Short walk from car to room! Not pet friendly (That's a plus! I *don't* want other people's dirty dogs sleeping on my bed!). Microwave & Refrigerator in room, 2x suitcase stands in king room, Steel tub -- not the usual cheap plastic tub that gets weak and flexible on the bottom! Low step-over height tub/shower! Quality bathroom fixtures, *Real* bar of soap!!! Thick comfy bed, Really good and quiet Trane HVAC unit ...not the el-cheapo kind that makes you deaf by morning! LOL. Dark window coverings that really do block the light, Plenty of lights & plug-ins, Rustic wood trim and matching furniture which was in good condition, Hot breakfast where you can sit inside or outside by the street, Good pool & hot tub, Patio chairs on a veranda. Friendly staff. Hotel manager Kim was friendly and great to talk to. Most of the new hotels around Moab are simply cookie-cutter chain hotels with odd-smelling hallways that loud kids and dogs run up and down. This place has some charm IMO. We plan to stay here next time we're in Moab!

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and I appreciated how dark out the curtains were. The breakfast was great! We really appreciated they had a coffee/hot beverage machine available at all times of the day. The location was very convenient, being right on the main strip in Moab, which made it really convenient when going to the National Parks or wanting to walk to shops and restaurants. They also had a nice rooftop balcony with some patio chairs. There was ample parking. The hotel is on a busy corner, with loud vehicles driving down the road, but the room was quite soundproof which was nice!

Desk staff were helpful and friendly and were able to change our room location to make sure we had a ground floor access with parking right in front of our room. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast. We were able to walk across the street to a good restaurant with good food. Beds were great and everything was very clean.

The beds were very comfortable, the location is convenient, and the A/C was very strong. We only stayed for a night before departing for our bike trip and it provided everything we needed. We loved that the hotel was willing to let us leave our cars parked in their lot for a week while we biked!

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is right on the main street of Moab and walking distance to all shops, restaurants, etc. Arches NP is a 10 - 15-minute drive, and Canyonlands is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The staff were all so lovely and the room was clean and comfy.
